We went to my brother Cory's house for Thanksgiving. We had a lot of fun. Joye was so excited for her first Thanksgiving. When I got her in her car seat and went to put her in the truck she was giggling and kicking her feet and the whole way down to dinner she sang to us. She was so happy all day. She loved the yams she ate them right up.

Chiller
Well I have been a little behind. We had a slight accident with our printer, so I couldn't upload my pictures onto the computer, but we got it under control and we're back on track. Anyway. Last night the boys decided they were tired and just went to bed by themselves. I went in to check on them and to shut off their light and this is what I found.

Good Helpers...Kinda
I sent Jaxon and Alek to clean their room the other day, they weren't in there very long when Jaxon came out and said they were done. I told him I'd come check and see if it was good enough. When I got in there they had picked everything up off the floor and put it up on Alek's bed. I've heard of stuffing everything under the bed, but never on top. They were so proud of themselves.

Alek's Birthday
Alek had an awesome birthday. The day before his birthday we went to my brother's house to celebrate. Then on his birthday he got visits from Great Grandma and Grandpa Fessler, Grandma and Grandpa Fessler, Uncles Keenan and Jairon and Aunts Teonna and TaNesha, and Grandpa and Grandma Anderson. Alek got to open presents and blow out candles. He loved it.

Happy Birthday Alek!!!
It's Alek's birthday today! We told him yesterday about his birthday because we had a party with my family for November birthday's. And ever since then that is all that he can talk about. I think that its partly because he is so excited, and because he likes to tease Jaxon. Jaxon has had the hardest time with Alek's birthday, he thinks it should be his birthday too. Yesterday Jaxon got upset and ran up to his bed, I went to check on him and he had put his pillow in front of his ladder and he was hiding behind it, crying and he kept saying "Daddy said it wasn't my birthday today" So I said "but it's not Alek's birthday today either." He said, "Oh ok!" Then he was fine. Today I asked Alek how old he was he said 3! Then I asked Jaxon how old he was he said "3! We're 3 together mom!" We have got Jaxon over his jealousy by telling him how cool it was to be three together for a month and a half. It's so hard for the boys to understand the birthday thing, and now that we have finally got Jaxon over his jealousy, we get to deal with Alek in a month and a half.
Alek is getting so big. He is so independent that he has to do everything by himself. If I help him put his pants on and do up his button, He has to undo his button and do it back up himself. And he found out that Jaxon can't do up his button so he just teases Jaxon. He'll stand up on the couch screaming watch this Jaxon, he'll undo his button and do it back up again, then he'll do his evil laugh. He loves to tease. He is great at wrestling and loves to beat up Jaxon and Daddy. Braden can't wait to put him in wrestling when he gets a little bigger.

Ballroom Class
Braden and I started taking a ballroom dance class at the studio I teach at. It was so much fun! We learned 4 basic steps of the Tango, last night. Then every couple of weeks we will learn a new dance. Braden is a really good dancer, and partner. I was impressed! He is an awesome partner dancer, just by himself is where he needs some help. But I am completely opposite. I can't partner dance, I am a leader, I can't follow. I am too use to worrying about myself. I was doing better with following after a couple minutes. Jaxon's teacher Micah stayed to take the class with us and he didn't have a partner, but since TaNesha was still there with us, she was his partner! She had so much fun. I don't think she was happy with me at first, but I think she loosened up with him after a minute and had fun.

Alek Was Made Just For Me!
Well I am a cuddler, and of course I married someone who isn't. Braden hates cuddling, he does it when I bug him long enough, cause he knows as soon as I fall asleep he can roll over and be by himself. But sometimes he does it just because he loves me and I don't bug him, but I still think he sees the light at the end of the tunnel and waits til I fall asleep. Anyway I don't need Braden to cuddle with anymore I have Alek!! Last night the boys were in their room watching a movie, and Jaxon fell asleep on their little couch. So Alek got bored and came out with us. When it got later we sent Alek to bed. When Braden and I went to bed ourselves we looked in and Alek instead of crawling up into his bed went and layed by Jaxon and fell asleep cuddling with him. He's just like me! I can't go to bed without Braden and where ever Braden is that's where I want to be. I love how they are wrapped up into each other. AHHH, Brotherly Love :)

All Tuckered Out!
Last night Joye was so ornery. She hasn't been napping very good lately, so when night comes she is a terror. Well i layed her on the couch to go fix her a bottle, and I made Jaxon sit in front of her so she wouldn't roll off. While I was making the bottle, it got quiet. When I went in, she was out for the count. I thought it was so funny. If you can see her neck is kinked. When I moved her to her bed the boys took the opportunity to be with mom and invaded my couch. Jaxon was so wiggly that this was only one of his many positions on me.

My Husband The Mechanic
Well Braden did it! With the help of his dad that is. They got our truck back on the road! And in pretty good time too. It would have been done faster but they couldn't find the right size pressure plate. Then they couldn't find anybody locally to turn the fly wheel. So Braden's Dad took it to one of his guys in Salt Lake. They also welded the control arm back together and put it back on. They did an awesome job, better than new, the clutch is so smooth and easy to push. Braden may have to switch me cars now. I love driving standards, and now that the clutch is so easy to push its like driving a car. Love it!

YUM
I have been feeding Joye things here and there off my plate, so today we bought her some baby food. We gave her some prunes (she's a little backed up :) ) I didn't think she'd like them, considering when I open the container I gagged. She she loved them, she ate half of the container. Alek saw that I was feeding her and he wanted some so I gave him a little bit, he ate it and thought for a minute and then got a happy face on and said "Mmm, I like it" Jaxon heard him and came running inside screaming " I want some I want some" so I gave him some. You would have thought I was trying to poison the kid, he coughed and tried to spit. He said "Ewww, thats gross mom!" I laughed, then Alek said "Mom, can I have some more." Well I would have to agree with Jaxon I thing prunes are gross too. Well Joye enjoyed them and thats all that matters.

FINALLY!
I didn't think we would ever do it, but we finally got Alek potty trained!!! We have two big boys, and they are so proud. We tried everything with Alek but nothing would work. Someone told me that when they have an accident give them a cold shower, so we tried it. Alek hated them, we can hardly get him in the tub to take a bath now. We finally just put him in underwear and told him not to go in them and that worked. YAY!! So we went to the store today and bought both boys new unders. They were so excited. But I don't think anyone is as excited as me.

Halloween!
I took the kids down to my brother Cory's house on Halloween, we ate soup and then went Trick-or-Treating. The boys had so much fun. Alek was nervous when we first got going and needed help going to the doors. Then he got into it, until it got dark. One of my brothers neighbors was wearing a scary mask and Alek freaked. He wanted to go home right then, and he wanted to be carried the whole way. Debbie carried him for a few houses then he talked himself into not being scared and had fun again for the last couple houses.

Halloween Party
Jaxon and Alek had a Halloween party at dance. They played games and ate yummy food. Alek was afraid of all the masks there. Jaxon loves dance and everything about it and Alek goes just to go. Alek always says he wants to then he gets there and is so bored. We'll probably keep Alek in until he is old enough to go into wrestling. He is a natural.

Almost There
Braden had another meeting in Salt Lake on Thursday. This time he met with a Detective, who had called his references and his former employers. They talked about stuff that she had found out and things that the other tests had said. At the end of the meeting she told Braden that he had made the top 40! YAY There are around 30 openings on the force. So hopefully he is one of the lucky 30! I can't wait til this process is over, it has taken forever, and it is so stressful. I've been so stressed, I can't even imagine what Braden has been going through.

Can't Catch A Break
We can't get anything to go our way. On Thursday I took Braden's truck to my dentist appointment, I got off my exit and the truck started acting weird when I was shifting. Then I stopped again and the clutch blew up (literally), and like the clutch wasn't enough, when it blew up it broke the control arm on the passenger side. So I was late for my dentist appointment and Braden had to be in Salt Lake and we only had one car. We can't win.
